Quality teaching

The objective of the Graduat Superior en Arxivística i Gestió de Documents is to train professionals so that they can acquire a high level of expertise in the management of historic and administrative documents within a context marked by technological innovation and quality service. The study plan emphasizes an interdisciplinary and pluralistic training method in which the student acquires knowledge on archiving and document management (organization, treatment, access, preservation, and use of information) including font types, documents and supports, management techniques, marketing and promotion, information and communication technologies, as well as advanced archiving techniques (electronic document management).

The study methodology will combine theoretical and practical sessions on the subjects as well as the end-of-course Internship. In this way, students will have the guaranteed opportunity of practicing in public and private archives.
